It's still a bit broken, but useable. Think it's an intermittent turbo issue of some kind but it only seems to happen when I don't have the time or patience to investigate it properly. MOT runs out in July so I'm not gonna waste too much time and effort on it until then..... might be finally time to chop it in for something else.

Used to ride with a bloke called Loyd that had a Husaberg. He had these enormous leg muslces thorugh constantly kicking the thing over. It even used to start occasionally. Mind you he did have the one with a proper size engine in it. Shame that the electric starter didnt work. Not that we used to laugh at him much
Fireblades, they are kind of OK but not my thing.
As for cars, sorry dont own one. At 54 I dont think I am old enough to change over to car driving regularly yet.

Keith0you know you are not alone-I have a Baghira AND a Dorsoduro. I like the more road based SM's as I can use them without fear of them breaking with frequent problems. I did have an XR650R but with 500 mile oil changes and kick only, it was no good for my 120 mile per day commute into, and through, London.

My Baggi did 13,000 in 6 months of commuting before work gave me a bike to use, so i decided to spec the Baggi up. Now all I need to do is assemble all the bits and chassis (anyone know where Wonky is?). Engine has been rebuilt to supermono spec so should be putting out 65 bhp. Chassis has been modded with USD forks and Ohlins rear shock. And lightened considrably.

The Dorsoduro I bought becuse it has all the styling of an SM but means i can use it as an everyday bike too. I still have my Fireblade for when I want to do higher mileage trips, and the GSX-R for tracks such as Snetterton and Oulton-the DD will be used on more suited tracks, which I look forward to.

Yep seen you on the Aprilia forum. Nice bike the Dorsoduro, but it still doesnt have the Exclusivity of the MZ Baghira does it
Mine DD and the MZ share a garage with a GL1500 goldwing, my sons DRZ400E with motard wheels and of course his Goldwing in Enduro trim.
Want more bikes but no room

Hi there - just seen this. I got my first Baggi about 3 month ago and love it! You get so much for your money. I'm looking for luggage for it though, I'm thinking a top-box, and would be grateful for any recommendations.

Whysub - I'm thinking about commuting about that distance into london - how did you find it on the Baggi?

A top box. OK I suppose, but I never have, oprefering to wear a backpack rather than ruin the lines of the bike.
I did put a small enduro rack on the rear gaurd though.

Aye Mz Baghira here, had it for 6 years now 18,000 miles and still going strong, just returned from isle of man tt on it and was brilliant...
