I've just bought a YZ and need to do the fork seals and was wondering what weight fork oil to use. The manual calls for 'Yamaha S1' which will no doubt cost the earth and from what I can gather from looking on-line is only a 0w grade oil. Presumably for SM use I'd be needing to go for a heavier oil (5w or maybe 10w?). I'd only be doing trackdays with it (Teesside) and from what I can gather that's a go kart track not a true SM on/off road track. Would the rear shock need some work too..........? Cheers |
